Coach Kido has been told that one of their recruits has refused to join the team.  He finds out that Seira is rebelling while her parents are going through a divorce.  He helps her out in a situation and she agrees to meet him to find out how to repay him.  When she shows up, she discovers that he is the coach of the Kisaragi Girls' School baseball team and that she's to be the newest player.  She reluctantly agrees.
