Connor "rescues" Cordelia from the group before they can find out any answers from her.  When they recover, Angel heads off to find Skip, Cordelia's guide, to find information on why Cordelia is acting this way.  The basics are that Cordy is possessed by a higher being who wants to live on Earth.  She is going to give birth to the same being that is possessing her.  Angel sets out to kill Cordelia in order to stop the birth but arrives too late.
