Angel discovers that Darla is dying and there is no cure for her.  Darla want to be made into a vampire but Angel is adamant that there is another way.  He returns to the karioke bar and gets advice on how to cure her.  He performs three feats in a trial that will restore Darla but is refused when the Overseer finds that she has once before been restored from the dead.  As Darla begins to accept her fate, Lindsey shows up with Drusilla to do what Angel was supposed to have done (in Wolfram & Harts' plans) all along.
