Angel remembers his and Darla's years along with Drusilla and Spikes.  Now that Darla is human and has a soul, Angel wants to help her when her past deeds begin to catch up with her.  Darla doesn't want the kind of help that Angel is offering when she asks him to turn her back into a vampire.
