Angel Investigations is hired by a wealthy software genius to get incriminating photos from his blackmailer.  While doing so, Angel is seen by some self-styles vampire hunters and targeted.  Later they trap Angel but when he saves on of their lives, their leader Charles Gunn warily lets him go.  Later Angel helps them deal with a nest of vampires but they are not in time to save Charles Gunn's sister from being turned.
