Oz delivers the ring with the Gem of Amara to Angel (from Buffy the Vampire Slayer - The Harsh Light of Day).  Spike also arrives in town to get the ring back with the help of a viscious torturing vampire.  When Oz, Coredila and Doyle arrive to save Angel, the torturing vampire takes the ring and goes into the daylight to find some young kids to snack on.  After defeating the vampire, Angel wears the ring for the remainder of the day and then destroys it so that he will no lose his touch with those needing help at night.
