Angel, from the pages of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, has moved to LA to fight evil in his own way.  He is met by Doyle who has been called by a higher power to help him and gives him a name and location of a girl named Tina.  While at a party, he see Cordelia who is aspiring to become an actress.  After failing to help Tina, Angel takes revenge on her killer.  When he returns home he finds Cordelia ready to set up shop with Angel and Doyle as a new detective agency.
