Giles arrives back in Sunnydale with some girls.  He explains about the Watchers and the systematic elimination of the Slayer line and that these girls are potential Slayers.  When Buffy learns of the Bringers, she and Giles go to search the last area she saw one.  When she finds an underground cavern she is attacked by the ancient vampire, a  Turok-Han.  Discovering that this vampire has fewer weaknesses that the modern day versions, she is nearly killed.  Buffy returns to her house to give a pep talk to the Potentials and her friends.
