Buffy, when her basement flood from broken pipes, realizes that she is not financially stable.  Giles returns after hearing the so-called good news about Buffy's resurrection.  Galies chastises Willow for bringing Buddy back from the dead saying that she is using magic way over her head.  When Buffy was applying for a loan, a demon showed up and the bank is robbed.  Three would-be sorcerers have decided to take over Sunnydale and this is their first step in doing so.  The demon, however, wants payback in the form of the Slayer, so they give him her address.
