The body of the man Faith killed is found and identified as the assistant to the mayor.  The mayor gets the police to turn up the heat on the two Slayers.  Faith goes to Giles and tells him that Buffy killed the man.  Giles believes Buffy's story instead and they conspire with the group to try and help Faith.  The new Watcher has other plans when he overhears them talking.  The new Watcher takes Faith from Angel's where he is trying to talk some sense into her but she escapes.  Mr Trick and several other vampires attack Faith and Buffy at the docks and Faith saves Buffy's life.  Buffy thinks that there's still hope for her even though she took off afterward.  Later, Faith shows up at the mayor's office and offers to replace Mr Trick.
