An war buddy of Mal and Zoe's mails his body to them asking that they return it to his family.  On board the ship, he comes to life and tells the crew that he is carrying internal organs that he is supposed to deliver but has reneged on the deal.  When he attempts to thwart the crew's intentions and holds Kaylee as hostage, he is killed for real.
